Field CISO

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing on strategic enterprise opportunities
• Lead executive briefings and facilitate trust during CISO-to-CISO conversations
• Represent the company at industry events, building relationships in the security and GRC community
• Share insights through webinars and panels to strengthen the company’s market credibility
• Advise executives on emerging regulations and industry risks shaping the company’s strategy
• Guide company responses to regulatory shifts and market events affecting positions
• Elevate the security and GRC standards across the company and the industry through knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• 15+ years in security and GRC, with 10+ years in leadership roles and 5+ years as a CISO or equivalent senior position
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR
• Excellent communication skills suitable for both technical and executive-level conversations
• Established reputation and network in the security and GRC community
• Experience functioning at a senior individual contributor level, providing strategic direction
• Comfortable with ambiguity and transforming complex issues into actionable strategies
• Experience engaging with go-to-market teams in enterprise sales cycles

Pay

$210,000 – $350,000 annually

Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
