Field Automation Engineer - DATA CENTER FOCUSED - Hiring for ALL levels!Location: On-Site in Frederick, MDSalary: $60,000-140,000 depending on experienceA leading provider of building automation, power monitoring, and mission-critical data center solutions is seeking a Field Automation Engineer to support large-scale data center projects in Frederick, MD. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in controls, BAS, PLCs, SCADA, commissioning, or industrial automation who want hands-on exposure to some of the most advanced critical infrastructure projects in the industry.What You'll DoProgram, configure, and troubleshoot BAS, PLC, and SCADA systems.Support startup, commissioning, and integrated systems testing activities.Perform I/O verification, point-to-point checkout, and functional testing.Troubleshoot controls networks, devices, and system integrations.Work with project teams, contractors, vendors, and commissioning agents.Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and sequences of operation.Document testing, commissioning results, and project deliverables.Provide technical support and mentorship as experience grows.TechnologiesRockwell Studio 5000Ignition SCADABACnetModbusOPC UABAS / BMS SystemsEPMS & UPS InfrastructureQualificationsDegree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or relevant technical experience.Experience with BAS, PLCs, SCADA, controls engineering, automation, or EPMS.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read electrical schematics and construction drawings.Experience with Niagara, Siemens, Honeywell, Rockwell, Ignition, or similar platforms is a plus.Data center or mission-critical experience highly preferred.Why Consider It?
