Field Auto NG NCL Consultant II - National General

Job Description

Responsible for creating or auditing a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in either the auto or specialty lines leading to the proper disposition. Responsible for training, mentoring, controlling quality and providing technical assistance on material damage claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
• Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
• Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines

Functional Skills

• 2+ years field claims experience with a strong understanding of claims handling, estimating, and vehicle damage assessment
• Proficiency with CCC ONE and the ability to write accurate estimates and negotiate claim settlements
• Experience working with customers, repair facilities, and other claim stakeholders to drive positive claim outcomes
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
• Prominent ability to collaborate effectively as a team player, supporting peers and contributing to overall team success

Location and Travel Requirements

This is a virtual, field-based position supporting the Springfield, MO territory. Candidates must reside in or near Springfield, MO, as the role requires regular travel to customer locations, repair facilities, and body shops. Willingness to travel as needed in support of CAT response efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 28.03 - 42.99 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
