Field Artillery Recruit

• Destroy, neutralize, or suppress enemy forces using cannon, rocket, and missile fire
• Operate artillery weapons systems
• Assignments as 13B, 13F, 13J, 13M, or 13R based on Army opportunities and skills assessed at Basic Combat Training

Requirements

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
• 17 to 42 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No major law violations
• No medical concerns

Training

• 10 weeks of Basic Training
• 6–10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), dependent on MOS
• ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
