Field Applications Engineer (Altera FPGA)

About the role

The Field Applications Engineer (F.A.E.) will champion return on engineering investment, drive demand creation, and partner with the sales team to facilitate solutions for customers. This role requires an advanced understanding of customer needs and technical leadership expertise.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced understanding of customer needs and technical leadership expertise to champion return on engineering investment.
• Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
• Understand customer needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering and design services resources to facilitate solutions for customers.
• Apply technical knowledge to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and strategies.
• Promote demand creation by providing technical support and consulting to the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities.
• Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up-to-date on activities, plans, and progressing towards initiatives.
• Identify key relationships amongst decision makers within suppliers and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or related engineering degree
• Experience with FPGA Design and/or similar experience
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tool
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience
• Familiarity with AI tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and also to work well in small teams
• Strong communication skills

Pay

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $91,900.00 - $182,000.01

Hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home in San Jose, CA.
