Field Application Specialist

You are a trusted technical advisor with passion for solving complex customer challenges, a skilled educator who translates advanced technology into practical solutions, and a dedicated partner committed to customer success. As a Field Application Specialist, you apply your knowledge to delivering installations, training for complex scientific instruments, and provide support to customers and the sales team within Anton Paar USA’s West Region. The assigned product lines include particle size, zeta potential, and gas sorption analyzers. This position is ideally based in Sacramento, CA, but Portland, OR and Seattle, WA may also work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installations and qualification packages, training, and ensure customer success
• Maintain a high level of expertise across assigned and other product lines
• Delivery of PQP (Pharmaceutical Qualification Packages)
• Travel (up to 80%, including overnight)

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with assigned analytical methods
• Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) for interactions with clients ranging from Quality Control Technicians to University Professors and CEOs
• Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $75,000/year to $84,900/year and depends on related experience.
