Field Application Engineer, Provectron

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our growing team. This role will focus on supporting our automation business, partnering with local teams to provide on-site support for equipment commissioning and troubleshooting, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for automation equipment on-site delivery, installation, and commissioning.
• Provide timely pre-sales and post-sales on-site technical support and troubleshooting when customer equipment issues occur.
• Work closely with the local sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze automated assembly and testing lines.
• Responsible for assembling, wiring, commissioning, and maintaining line equipment.
• Provide product presentations and conduct product and tool training for customers on-site.
• Analyze and provide tangible feedback and feasible solutions to customers based on their requirements.
• Prepare Technical Reports indicating the support activity and open issue progress.

Requirements

• Proficient in mechanical or electronic troubleshooting and debugging.
• Basic understanding of automation systems and manufacturing processes.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in equipment installation or maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Candidates should be based in Cleveland, Ohio, US, or open to relocating.
