Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics or related field)
  • Experience within the electronics or interconnect industry
  • Experience interfacing directly with customer engineering teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and navigate complex technical challenges

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting high-speed interconnects or similar electronic systems in server, networking, or related industries
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work through ambiguous and long-cycle development efforts
  • Experience in engaging with advanced computing environments or highly specialized applications (e.g., thermal, signal integrity, or extreme operating conditions)
  • Familiarity with connectors, cabling systems, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with statistical problem-solving approaches and quality tools
  • Ability to establish credibility with highly technical customer stakeholders
  • Well versed in 2D/3D CAD design tools (NX preferred)

Location

Preferred locations include proximity to key enterprise customer engineering hubs such as New York (Hudson Valley), Raleigh, NC, or Austin, TX, with periodic travel required to customer sites. This role is remote/home-based within the United States, with Poughkeepsie or Yorktown Heights, NY, or Lisle, IL preferred. Travel is up to 30% (domestic travel within the US).
