Field Application Engineer - DCDC Design Center - Fremont

Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for DC/DC converter applications, supporting customer design and integration
- Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop and position solutions that meet customer requirements
- Engage with OEM/ODM customers early in the design cycle to drive design-ins
- Translate customer needs into product specifications and system-level solutions
- Provide technical training and develop training materials for internal teams and partners
- Coordinate with HQ and manufacturing teams (primarily in Asia) to track project progress
- Support system validation, testing, and implementation activities
- Monitor market trends and recommend new application opportunities
- Identify risks and proactively communicate issues to stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong background in DC/DC converters and power electronics
- Experience in field applications, solutions engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- Knowledge of data center hardware and power systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects
Qualifications
- Mandarin language proficiency
- Self-motivated and results-driven mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong presentation and customer-facing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (including overnight travel)
Pay
USD $140,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
