Field Application Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Field Application Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will serve as a hands-on technical resource supporting manufacturing, quality, and engineering partners across complex electronics programs. You will help identify failure modes, improve yield, and resolve hardware and system-level issues throughout the product lifecycle. The position calls for close collaboration with internal teams and external manufacturing partners to strengthen product reliability from introduction through high-volume production. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $132,000 – $207,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as a technical specialist for GPU and networking products, supporting manufacturing and quality teams Build and maintain technical relationships with engineering teams and manufacturing partners Identify failure modes and manufacturing risks to drive improvements Conduct on-site diagnostics and resolve hardware and system-level failures Support product lifecycle from New Product Introduction to high-volume manufacturing Develop methodologies and tools for failure analysis and hardware validation Provide training and documentation on failure modes and debugging techniques Qualifications BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in high-tech electronics, with a focus on manufacturing, failure analysis, or hardware debug Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Proven track record managing multiple failure investigations and yield improvement initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Effective written and oral communication skills in English Benefits Equity opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Collaborative work environment Access to cutting-edge technology Opportunities for professional growth and development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
