About the Role
This position supports plant-level leadership by managing administrative tasks and ensuring efficient communication between teams and stakeholders. The Field Administrator provides essential support to the Site Manager, helping to document processes, create efficiencies, and streamline administrative duties for onsite managers.
Responsibilities
- Provide support with the new hire process, including assistance with hiring (final decision made by Site Manager).
- Process new hire paperwork, including handbook sign-off, I-9 verification, E-Verify compliance, and other onboarding documents.
- Manage payroll tasks, including salaried team member adjustments, terminations, leave of absences, transfers, payroll comparisons, check sign-offs, vacation tracking, raises, and reporting payroll information to the corporate office.
- Document disciplinary actions and terminations accurately and on time.
- Document reported injuries, assist in investigations, and manage appropriate medical paperwork.
- Run various reports for the Site Manager.
- Assist with the distribution of benefit forms.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills (Spanish).
- Understanding of company structure, including divisions, departments, and plant locations.
Work Environment
This position is based in an offsite or onsite office setting, which may include wet, hot, or cold environments. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required. Shift schedules may vary depending on location.
