Cyber Intelligence Analyst (Internal)
REMOTE VOLUNTEER ROLE.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify and assess cyber threats and vulnerabilities affecting CDIC.
- Provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity teams.
- Play a critical role in protecting CDIC’s digital assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Essential skills include strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Expertise in OSINT tools and techniques for scraping data from the web, darknet, and social platforms.
- Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency forensics for tracking terrorist financing or scams.
- Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Russian, Mandarin, Arabic).
- The capacity to conduct undercover research, produce detailed threat reports, and support incident response in high-pressure environments.
Qualifications
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND IN A TEAM.
- PRIORITY TO FORMER MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING.
