Responsibilities
- Maintains the security and integrity of cyber systems and networks.
- Identifies and acquires raw, primary, and secondary data for predictive and reactive analyses.
- Evaluates cyber threat operations and system vulnerabilities and develops assessments, threat profiles and custom detection capabilities.
- Analyzes network traffic using raw packet data, net flow, and customer sensor output.
- Collaborates with resources to determine capability and intent of network events and resolves these events in a timely manner.
- Researches and evaluates new technology, techniques, and threatening capabilities and tactics focused on the threat to information networks.
- Generates reports, briefings, and recommendations to highlight these threats and possible resolutions.
- Contacts external entities, such as intelligence community organizations, law enforcement agencies, and other government agencies, as necessary.
- May reverse engineer attacker encoding protocols.
Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree (or within one year of attainment) in science, humanities, social sciences, structured analysis, engineering, or mathematics.
- Experience working in NASIC and cybersecurity.
Pay
The expected annual salary range is $170k - $190k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
