About the role

The Senior Manager manages and coordinates the operational activities for the Fiduciary Review Group - Administrative Review team. They ensure quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers. They manage staff ranging from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the administrative review team of individual contributors (10 – 15 direct reports)
  • Oversee continued development of team members including monthly 1x1 meetings
  • Manage assignment of workloads to team members
  • Lead monthly team meetings to communicate updates and changes that affect the FRG team
  • Handle questions from BL partners
  • Represent FRG at meetings with Business Line partners and leadership
  • Identify potential risks and escalate for discussion or resolution as appropriate
  • Create and present training materials for reviewers
  • Run various reports on weekly/monthly cadence as appropriate
  • Promote consistency of review process across team
  • Troubleshoot or escalate issues that arise with systems and processes
  • Drive team initiatives
  • Address ad hoc items as they arise or are assigned

Requirements

The position requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven or more years of experience in trust and securities operational functions
  • Five to seven years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, products and services
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Securities Services business lines and clients
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent supervisory and management skills, including a well-developed knowledge of human resources
