FiberTite Roofing Technical Representative - Dallas/Oklahoma
About the role
The FiberTite Technical Representative position is designed to manage the needs of the designated territory of Dallas, North Texas, and Oklahoma. This role involves providing personal in-field technical support via direct contact with various customers, including FiberTite Applicator personnel, building owners, architects, roofing consultants, and FiberTite sales personnel.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule work according to Technical Services Guidelines
- Arrange and conduct travel to work locations
- Conduct in-progress roof-site visits to monitor and ensure proper installation of FiberTite Roof Systems
- Help resolve installation problems and issues as they arise
- Train FiberTite Applicator personnel on the proper use and installation of FiberTite products and roofing systems
- Conduct final inspections of FiberTite Roof System installations to ensure technical and warrantable acceptance
- Investigate warranty claim issues as assigned
- Occasionally complete necessary FiberTite repairs as directed by FiberTite Warranty Services
- Provide technical assistance to local / regional FiberTite Sales personnel in support of their respective sales needs
- Operate within established company expense and vehicle policies
- Maintain weekly communication with FiberTite Technical Services staff to ensure coordination of relevant information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2 - 5 years' experience in roofing and/or roof inspections
- Basic PC skills, including Word Perfect, Excel Spreadsheet, email, and Internet
- Fundamental knowledge of roofing, roofing materials, and roofing systems
- Knowledge of, and experience with, general single-ply roof system inspection procedures
- Working knowledge of building codes, such as FM, UL, and Miami-Dade
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
Qualifications

Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and perform basic estimating
- Ability to listen & comprehend, and express oneself both verbally and in writing, including report writing
- Knowledge of, and experience with, general single-ply roof system inspection procedures
- Working knowledge, and hands-on experience, with hot-air welding equipment as used for thermoplastic single-ply roofing applications, including proficiency in hand-welding of construction detail work, i.e., flashing application of corners, and pipes
- Ability to present hands-on applications training to small groups

Pay
The salary range for this position is $66,400–$99,500. This salary range is provided in good faith and reflects the range the Company reasonably expects to pay for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
Schedule
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits. The salary range for this position is $66,400–$99,500.
