Fiber Internet Sales Representative

About the role

Outside Sales Representative (field-based, limited office reporting) representing GoNetspeed directly in local neighborhoods. You’ll help people upgrade to fast, reliable fiber internet while working independently outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers face-to-face through door-to-door outreach in assigned towns/cities
• Sell Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV services
• Knock on 50+ doors daily
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right plan
• Stay current on product offerings and competitor options
• Achieve monthly sales goals and earn commission
• Participate in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a full-time schedule
• Availability 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours/week
• Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally

Qualifications

Experience is helpful but not required; full training provided. The following skills will help you stand out:

• Telecom, broadband, or tech-related sales experience
• Organized approach to managing a sales territory
• Confident face-to-face communication
• Professional, ethical customer interactions
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing (75–100%)
• Occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling (25–49%)
• Ability to read screens/reports and communicate via phone/email (75–100%)

Pay

• Base salary: $35,000
• Uncapped commission potential
• Typical total earnings: $70,000–$125,000+ annually
• $5,000 signing and performance bonus (when hitting goals in your first 120 days)
