About the role
The role of Fertility Nurse Case Manager at Fertility Centers of Illinois in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an immediate opening. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Time, with weekend and holiday rotations. Compensation is $70,000 to $82,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination, case management, and treatment of fertility patients.
- Maintain oversight of patients throughout treatment plans, providing direction and education.
- Communicate physician orders and instructions, as well as laboratory results with appropriate interpretation and explanation.
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture and specimen collection, while ensuring patient safety, accurate specimen handling, and compliance with established protocols.
Requirements
- RN required; BSN preferred.
- Current state RN license without limitations required.
- IVF/Fertility experience and background in women's health preferred.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, including venipuncture, specimen collection, processing, and proper specimen handling.
- Ability to manage a caseload of patients.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong customer service and results-oriented; highly responsive to requests.
Skills
