Fertility Nurse Case Manager

About the role

The Fertility Nurse Case Manager will assist with the coordination, case management, and treatment of fertility patients. They will monitor patients throughout treatment plans, providing direction and education, communicate physician orders and instructions, as well as laboratory results with appropriate interpretation and explanation, and establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients and their families. They will also document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination, case management, and treatment of fertility patients
• Maintain and update patient records
• Monitor patients throughout treatment plans, providing direction and education
• Communicate physician orders and instructions, as well as laboratory results with appropriate interpretation and explanation
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients and their families
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records

Requirements

• RN required; BSN preferred
• IVF/Fertility experience and background in women's health preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of patients
• Computer proficiency required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong customer service and results oriented; highly responsive to requests

Pay

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with weekend and holiday rotations; 1 to 2 weekend rotations scheduled every 6 to 8 weeks.
