About the role
The Fertigation Technician is responsible for managing the application of fertilizers and other nutrients through irrigation systems to optimize crop growth and yield.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fertigation plans based on soil tests and crop needs.
- Monitor and adjust fertigation rates and timings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with agronomists and other technicians to optimize crop performance.
- Perform routine maintenance on fertigation equipment and irrigation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fertigation or similar agricultural roles.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Strong understanding of crop physiology and soil science.
- Proficiency in using fertigation software and irrigation management tools.

Pay
