As a Manufacturing Technician B, your goal is to use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair production equipment in your area. You'll also be responsible for setting up various production machines to ensure top-notch quality products are manufactured.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment.
  • Perform operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
  • Responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specification.
  • Train employees; assign and direct work; provide feedback to supervisor regarding employee work performance; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1.5 years’ relevant working experience including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to use computers for email communications and data entry for quality/production systems.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility/location.

  • Ability to operate a forklift.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • May be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights (Frequently 5–25 pounds, Occasionally 25–75 pounds, Rarely greater than 75 pounds).
  • Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
