Manufacturing Technician B- 2nd shift $27.25 (+2 shift premium)

About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician B, you will use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair production equipment in your area. You will also set up various production machines to ensure top-notch quality products are manufactured. This role involves maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventative maintenance, and training employees.
Responsibilities
- Maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for a variety of equipment.
- Perform various operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
- Responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis to perform process or equipment adjustments and bring parts into specification.
- Train employees; assign and direct work; provide feedback to supervisor regarding employee work performance; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 1.5 years’ relevant working experience, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
- Intermediate troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
- Good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills for email communications and data entry for quality/production systems.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- May be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights (Frequently 5–25 pounds, Occasionally 25–75 pounds, Rarely greater than 75 pounds).
- Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8–12 hours).
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and/or reaching over a full work shift (8–12 hours).
- Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift (8–12 hours).
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8–12 hours).
- Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8–12 hours).
