About the role

This position involves teaching a child using materials from the Deutsche Fernschule, as well as assisting with household and childcare duties in a family setting in Tanzania. The role may also include participation in local social projects or youth work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons for a child using Deutsche Fernschule materials
• Prepare and deliver lessons independently
• Assist with homework, household tasks, and organizing children’s leisure activities
• Potential involvement in local social projects or youth work

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
• Enjoyment of teaching and sharing knowledge
• Experience in child and youth work or tutoring is beneficial

Schedule

Approximately 11 months, starting August 2027.

This role is structured as a private-law volunteer assignment, offering flexibility in location, duration, and scope of work. The team consists of a German family and an international on-site team. One position is available.
