Female Mental Health Technician (Overnight)

Primary Accountabilities

Supervision of clients to ensure a safe and comfortable setting
Daily: Available as support if client is having a crisis or breakdown, and alerting appropriate staff when needed
Updates to clinical team regarding client status and updates
Being on the floor monitoring clients whereabouts, well-being, and safety at all times
Monitoring unusual and risky behavior, and alerting appropriate staff when needed
Chart audits to ensure all clients are accounted for in the notes, and alerting appropriate staff when there are errors
Light cleaning around house when needed, and doing rounds of the home to ensure its cleanliness
Laundry when needed and monitoring dirty bedding, towels, etc. to ensure its getting done
Monitoring supplies and communicating supplies needed
Shift change report to ensure proper coordination of care and that any relevant and important information is being passed along to staff on the following shift

Requirements

• Qualifications: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
  Must be 18 years of age or older
  Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar.
  Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions
  demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit at a desk to work, as well as move from location to location effectively.
  Ability to clearly communicate with clients and staff through verbal and written communications.
  Ability to type, hand write, use computers and answer phones daily.
• Shift Availability: Overnight shift: 11:00PM to 7:00AM
  Availability required on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
