About the role
To carry out the custodial responsibilities in maintaining buildings as outlined in the YOKC Maintenance Manual.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Mirrors/Windows/Glass were cleaned daily
- Trash Management (emptied and wipe containers)
- Vacuum All Carpet Areas
- Toilet/Urinal/Sink Clean and Disinfect
- Refill and Clean Dispensers
- Showers Disinfect and Clean throughout the day and as needed
- Scrub/Mop Hard Floors (maintain clean flooring surfaces)
- Auxiliary with Deep Clean (Carpet, Tile, etc.)
- High Dust
- Auxiliary with Stairwell/Running Track detail
- Auxiliary with Air Dispenser Cartridge Change
- Auxiliary with Exterior Window Cleaning
- Report any facility issues through supervisor
- Secure facility at the end of shift
Qualifications
- Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors, and volunteers.
- Assist in all other duties that pertain to Janitorial
Educational and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have good communication skills, and the ability to follow directions.
- Able to use technology to track time worked.
Pay
Starting at $11.00 per hour!
Schedule
The incumbent will also work hours outside of operational hours.
