Responsibilities
- Perform frequent diaper changes with precision, cleanliness, and care
- Aid with PureWick catheter management
- Provide meticulous skin care, preventing further breakdown, irritation, or injury
- Reposition client safely and gently, considering mobility limitations
- Assist with hygiene, comfort care, and maintaining dignity
- Observe and report any changes in skin condition or overall health
- Collaborate with visiting nurse and PT when needed
Requirements
- Female caregiver (client preference)
- Strong experience with bedbound clients, incontinence care, and catheter use (PureWick preferred)
- Knowledgeable in skin integrity and pressure sore prevention
- A very gentle touch but capable of working efficiently and confidently
- Patient, detail-oriented, and highly reliable
- Comfortable following care plans and adapting to client-specific limitations
