FEMA Senior Okta Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a FEMA Senior Okta Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will drive identity and access management efforts that support secure, scalable access across mission-critical environments. The position focuses on Okta engineering, workflow automation, and integration work that improves lifecycle management and authentication controls. You will partner with IT and security stakeholders to standardize identity processes, strengthen compliance, and support enterprise application access. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $105,100 – $231,100 annually Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement Okta workflows and APIs for access management Integrate Okta with ServiceNow for lifecycle management Refactor ServiceNow items to align with Okta Support the transition from FEIMS to Okta as the authoritative identity source Design attribute management processes for standardization Extend Multi-Factor Authentication across applications Develop and maintain documentation for integrations and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field, plus 15 years of experience Hands-on experience with Okta platform implementation and administration Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Administrator required Strong technical expertise in Okta workflows, MFA, and API Access Management Experience integrating Okta with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and OAuth/OIDC protocols Knowledge of NIST frameworks and federal compliance requirements, including FISMA and FedRAMP Benefits Flexible time off policy Access to robust learning and development resources Comprehensive healthcare and wellness programs Retirement and financial support options Family support benefits Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
