About the role
Felt is a collaborative software company that wants to make it easier for people to build maps on the Internet.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features for our mapping platform.
- Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement robust testing strategies to ensure high-quality releases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database design.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Experience with GIS technologies and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of geospatial databases and SQL.
- Understanding of web mapping technologies and services like OpenStreetMap or Mapbox.
- Interest in open-source projects and contributing to the community.
