FeedMill Maintenance

About the role

The individual selected for this position will assume all duties of Feedmill Maintenance Person.

Responsibilities

• Work well with others, communicate with others, and have good decision-making ability.
• Desire to be part of an proactive, motivated maintenance team.
• Responsible for the operation and upkeep of machines in the Maintenance Dept.
• Trained to do other jobs in the department.
• Able to lift 85 lbs. and work at high heights.
• Able to do administrative duties and records, including (P.M’s, logs, etc.).
• Able to work in extreme temperatures and humidity.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and possibly different shifts (day, evening, or night).
• Able to travel to other locations for projects.
• Able to obtain pipe certification in welding.
• Prefer at least two years’ experience.
• Must complete a successful background check.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
• Skills in mechanics, welding, and electrical fields are preferred.
• Mechanical ability and experience preferred.
• Apply common sense to problems.
• Work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees).
• Stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day.
• Multi-task and work quickly.
• Be a team player and work closely with other employees at some stations (less than 3 feet apart).
• Good communication skills.
• Good hand and eye coordination required.
• Food or production experience preferred.
