About the role

At Oaklin Lane, you're not just another therapist. You've seen a family exhale the first time their kid trusts a new texture, or an infant find a safe latch after weeks of worry. This role involves building individualized feeding plans for each kid, preparing developmentally appropriate materials and food items, documenting sessions accurately, and communicating clearly and compassionately with kids, families, and your interdisciplinary teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Build individualized feeding plans for each kid — oral-motor skills, swallowing safety, sensory-based feeding challenges, and mealtime success
  • Prepare developmentally appropriate materials and food items tailored to each child’s medical, sensory, and nutritional needs
  • Document sessions in our EMR with accuracy and care
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with kids, families, and your interdisciplinary teammates
  • Show up for team huddles, case discussions, and learning moments
  • Create a play-based environment where kids are treated like kids first

Requirements

  • Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in good standing
  • VitalStim certification, or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire
  • Medicaid credentialing preferred, or willingness to complete immediately upon hire
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric feeding therapy — evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment across a wide range of feeding needs
  • Deep understanding of oral-motor development, dysphagia management, sensory feeding challenges, and mealtime behavioral dynamics

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge in pediatric feeding and swallowing
  • Clear and compassionate communication skills
  • Team player who cares about the clinicians on your team as much as the kids on your schedule

Skills

  • Ability to meet kids where they are

Benefits

  • Full-time schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM to 6:00PM (with a lunch break)
  • Four-day work week
  • No nights or weekends
  • Medical, vision, and dental stipend
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid CEUs, licensure, and certification renewal
  • All therapy materials and supplies provided
  • Mentorship and a clear pathway for career growth

Pay

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
