Feed Loading Operator FM02, 2nd Shift, Ivalee Feed Mill
About the role
This position involves operating a feed tracking system, directing drivers to loading areas, and performing various other duties related to feeding operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input driver and farm information into feed tracking system
- Ensure correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm
- Direct drivers to correct loading area based on loading schedule
- Organize and flex tasks, changing priorities throughout the day
- Take Feed bin inventory
- Operate loading equipment to correctly load trucks based on load schedules
- Work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments
- Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather
- Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
- Work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
- Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
- Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
- Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
- Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day
- Complete all other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum of six (6) months of machine operator experience
- Continuous work experience with a single employer within the past twenty-four (24) months, totaling at least six (6) months
