Fee Request Specialist

About the role

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Meet a daily quota of reviewing assigned fee requests/approvals
  • This includes obtaining proper backup documentation for fees, launching rails in client systems to request fees, following up with clients on aged requests, uploading fee approvals from client systems to firm’s system, re-requesting fee denials where necessary, and completing assignments as tasks are completed
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all requests/approvals, meeting billing timelines
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure requirements
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications: Excellent analytical, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills; strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines; demonstrate attention to detail and a desire to achieve accurate deliverables
  • Preferred Qualifications: Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree strongly preferred (or applicable experience)
