FEDEX Peal/Seasonal Driver

About the role

Employer: Veracity Transport Inc. Location: Dayton, Ohio. Period: November 15, 2026 – January 2027. Employment: Temporary, with potential full‑time employment afterward.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks on assigned FedEx routes.
• Pick up and deliver packages.
• Follow delivery schedules.
• Load and unload packages safely.
• Verify delivery information/documentation.
• Follow FedEx procedures, traffic laws and safety requirements.
• Perform basic pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate with customers.
• Coordinate with dispatch and terminal personnel when delivery problems arise.

Requirements

• Minimum age 21.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT/safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Strong driving skills.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Route planning and time‑management ability.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lb or more.
