About the role
Located in Dayton, Ohio. Temporary position from November 15, 2026 to January 2027, with potential full-time employment afterward.
Responsibilities
- Drive company trucks on assigned FedEx routes.
- Pick up and deliver packages.
- Follow delivery schedules.
- Load and unload packages safely.
- Verify delivery information/documentation.
- Follow FedEx procedures, traffic laws and safety requirements.
- Perform basic pre and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate with customers.
- Coordinate with dispatch and terminal personnel when delivery problems arise.
Requirements
- Strong driving skills.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT/safety knowledge.
- Good communication/customer‑service skills.
- Route planning and time‑management ability.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lb or more.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age 21.
