Student Worker (Federal Work Study) Tutor position in the Nursing Department (ID #121801) under Dean Margaret Stroehlein, located in Life Science‑Second Floor, supervised by Chairperson Kerry Vignola. Role: provide tutoring and support to nursing students in one‑on‑one or small‑group settings. Employment period: September 2026 – May 2027.
Responsibilities
- Work with Department Chairperson to provide tutoring and support to nursing students in a one on one or small group setting.
Requirements
- LIU student enrolled in an active degree program.
- Must be a Nursing Student, Senior Year.
Qualifications
- Academic strength required in Pharmacology, Pathophysiology and Fundamentals.
Pay
Minimum hourly rate: $20.
Schedule
Typically 2 days per week, approximately 7‑8 hours per week; schedule to be arranged by the student.
