Job Description
Site Supervision: Serve as the on-site Superintendent for a $50M Naval construction program, including an initial $6M SCIF renovation project (4,700 SF).
Team Leadership: Direct subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and construction activities to ensure successful project execution.
Schedule Management: Maintain project schedules, coordinate inspections, and drive progress to meet contractual milestones.
Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards, EM 385 requirements, federal regulations, quality control procedures, and site safety protocols.
Safety Compliance: Support security protocols and ensure compliance with all SCIF construction requirements and government security standards.
Documentation: Prepare progress reports, maintain documentation, and participate in project meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on federal construction projects.
Demonstrated experience working on Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Navy, Air Force, or other DoD construction projects.
OSHA 30 Certification (minimum).
Comprehensive knowledge of federal construction practices, including renovations, new construction, site development, and excavation.
Experience managing general construction projects valued between $500,000 and $15,000,000.
Strong leadership, scheduling, communication, and subcontractor management abilities.
Proficiency with RMS, Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar construction management software.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance or higher, if required.
Ability to gain access to military installations and secure project badging.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Clean background with no history that would prevent security clearance eligibility.
Qualifications
Prior SCIF construction or renovation experience.
Previous work within occupied healthcare or hospital renovation environments.
Existing security clearance.
Experience delivering mission-critical or highly secure government facilities.
