Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities within U.S. Federal Government healthcare accounts, including VA, DoD, IHS, and federal civilian agencies
- Manage the full federal sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award and post-award support
- Present CooperSurgical’s women’s health, fertility, and surgical solutions to federal clinical and procurement stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned federal healthcare accounts
- Develop and execute strategic federal account plans aligned with agency missions and budgets
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clinicians, contracting officers, program managers, and procurement teams
- Support RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs by providing sales input, customer intelligence, and product positioning
- Collaborate with internal Contracts, Pricing, Regulatory, Legal, CooperSurgical field sales, corporate accounts, channel partners and Marketing teams to ensure compliant submissions
- Ensure all sales activities align with FAR, agency-specific regulations, FDA requirements, and CooperSurgical policies
- Maintain continuous eligibility for access to DoD, VA, and other federal sites, including compliance with installation-specific security, identification, and training requirements
- Comply with all applicable access protocols to support on-site meetings, sales activities, and clinical engagements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–7 years of experience in federal sales, government contracting, or healthcare/medical device sales
- Knowledge of U.S. Federal Government healthcare procurement processes, including VA, DoD, and other federal agency purchasing environments
- Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency-specific procurement requirements
- FDA-regulated medical device and diagnostic sales requirements, including compliance and quality considerations
- Supporting proposal development for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs within regulated environments
- Coordinating cross-functionally with contracts, pricing, regulatory, marketing, and compliance teams
- Representing CooperSurgical’s women’s health, fertility, and surgical solutions professionally in clinical and governmental settings
- Managing multiple accounts and priorities while meeting deadlines and compliance requirements
- Maintain existing credentialing and access authorization required to enter U.S. military bases and federal healthcare facilities
- Ability to travel to and work safely within military installations and federal healthcare environments
- Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Pay
