Federal Cost Recovery Program Analyst II

About the Role

Cost Recovery is responsible for collecting incident costs, including litigation costs, whenever other state agencies, private individuals, businesses, or local or federal governments are partially or fully financially responsible for an incident. Cost Recovery consists of civil, agreement reimbursement, and law enforcement programs. The position is located in Redding, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Collect incident costs, including litigation costs, from responsible parties
  • Handle civil, agreement reimbursement, and law enforcement cost recovery programs

Qualifications

  • Must be currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, be in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility
  • Must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)

Pay

  • $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month (new to state candidates hired at minimum salary)

Schedule

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • In office (no telework)

    • Describe how your prior experience, knowledge, training, and individual qualities make you an excellent fit for this position
    • Describe your ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships with staff, leadership, and external partners while exhibiting a high degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills
  • The SOQ must include your full name, position number, and title "Statement of Qualifications" at the top of each page
