What You’ll Do
- Support the administration and continuous improvement of OCTA’s federal compliance program
- Monitor, research, and analyze federal laws, regulations, and guidance affecting agency programs and funding
- Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and subrecipient monitoring activities
- Interpret complex federal grant requirements and assess their impact on agency operations, policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain compliance guides, corrective action plans, risk assessment tools, and tracking systems
- Auxiliary with implementation of new federal requirements and regulatory changes across the agency
- Investigate potential compliance issues and collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions
- Prepare reports, presentations, policies, procedures, and correspondence related to compliance activities
- Analyze proposed federal regulations and provide recommendations regarding agency impacts
- Deliver compliance training and educational resources to internal staff and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including report writing and presentations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in complex compliance matters
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Finance, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, Political Science, Law, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience in compliance, grants administration, auditing, regulatory affairs, public administration, or a related field
- Knowledge of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements and federal grant compliance regulations required
