The Federal Division of Phillips Corporation stands at the forefront of the additive manufacturing revolution, seeking a visionary retired or soon to be retired military officer (O-6 or higher) to lead the charge towards federal manufacturing sovereignty.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate pursuits with clear, data-driven Go/No-Go leadership to ensure high-octane technical assets are deployed strategically.
- Forge unbreakable alliances with key federal service coalitions and tier-one OEM partners, projecting Phillips' innovative mastery into the national spotlight.
- Write the blueprint for the future of federal manufacturing through elite forums like America Makes and other federal manufacturing initiatives.
- Transform complex engineering capabilities into compelling white papers, executive briefings, and high-impact presentations that captivate federal decision-makers.
- Unite diverse internal performance centers to pursue massive, cross-division initiatives with singular momentum and flawless clarity.
- Maintain an eagle-eye, strategic view of the program landscape to mitigate risks, optimize performance, and secure a high-confidence pipeline of breakthrough opportunities.
- Build an unmatched foundation of trust with OEMs, ensuring Phillips remains their first and only call for mission-critical federal integrations.
Requirements
- Retired or will be retiring within six months from the US military with a rank of O-6 or higher and a strong service network.
- Expert level knowledge of additive manufacturing technology and services with a focus on metal additive technology.
- Power user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) to manage accounts, track opportunities, and forecast revenue accurately.
- Strong Microsoft skills, including Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to analyze market trends, customer insights, and sales performance as well as PowerPoint for creating compelling business proposals and executive updates.
- Ability to travel 60-80% of the time to trade shows, conferences, and other events both within the US and abroad as needed to drive business.
