Key Requirements: * Proven experience in federal sales and account management, specifically selling into U.S. federal agencies. * Demonstrated success managing a named or strategic federal account, ideally within civilian agencies such as the Department of State. * Strong track record in complex enterprise solution selling, including multi-stakeholder, multi-year deals. * Expertise in strategic account planning and territory management within the federal market. * Advanced relationship-building and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior government stakeholders. * Experience managing sales pipelines and delivering accurate revenue forecasts in a CRM-driven environment. * Ability to work cross-functionally and drive internal stakeholder alignment to support deal strategy and execution. * Comfortable operating in a remote environment with high levels of autonomy and accountability for results. Desirable Skills: * Prior experience working with or through Value Added Resellers and federal channel partners. * Familiarity with federal procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance considerations. * Background selling technology, software, or complex IT solutions into federal agencies. * Experience navigating large, matrixed organizations and coordinating multi-disciplinary deal teams. * Knowledge of Department of State mission areas, organizational structure, and strategic priorities. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. * Relevant sales or account management certifications (e.g., strategic selling, complex sales methodologies) preferred. * Training or coursework in federal contracting, government sales, or public sector management is an advantage.
