Account Executive - US Federal

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Account Executive - US Federal to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on driving federal sales strategy within the Department of Defense and related agencies, with an emphasis on prioritizing the right opportunities and advancing complex deals. The position will also manage existing customer relationships to expand account value through renewals and add-on business. In addition, the role will partner closely with internal teams to align resources, strengthen execution, and support long-term account growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy for prioritizing and closing opportunities within the Department of Defense
• Maintain relationships with existing customers, with a focus on upsells
• Perform account planning and coordinate resources for strategic alignment
• Drive add-on and renewal business within large enterprise customers
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams for account success

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience selling to the Department of Defense or related agencies
• 12+ years of experience in SaaS, Cloud, ERP, HCM, or financial and planning solutions sales to C-level executives
• 10+ years of experience negotiating deals with C-suite executives
• 10+ years of experience building relationships for add-on business
• 10+ years of experience developing long-term account strategies
• 3+ years of experience with DISA and IL4/IL5 accreditations

Pay

$147,700 – $221,600 annually
