Feasibility Informatics Internship/Co-Op Summer 2027

About the Role

The Informatics team is seeking qualified full-time interns for Summer 2027 to support clinical trial data analysis and visualization. This role provides intensive experience in query-based programming, data interpretation, and visualization creation within a highly collaborative international team environment.

Responsibilities

• Customization of programming scripts for data management
• Creation of innovative visuals and analyses through individual projects
• Contribution to design and delivery of data visualizations
• Collation of data for proposal support requests

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in computer science/engineering, biomedical engineering, health information, statistics, bioinformatics, or related field
• GPA 3.5+
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience programming with R, or other computer language
• Introductory Microsoft Excel skills

Learning & Development

• Formal 2-week intensive onboarding process followed by a mentored path to independence
• Become proficient-to-advanced in R and introductory-to-proficient in SQL
• Work with software and systems including PowerBI, Excel, Snowflake, and Shiny
• Weekly meetings with supervisor with daily interaction
• Support from analysts on the team for various projects
• Open learning environment emphasizing mutual learning and innovative projects

Team Environment

• Highly collaborative team with members in Cincinnati and London offices
• Opportunity to work directly with international employees
• Daily activities include whiteboarding sessions, group-think meetings with the London team, independent data exploration, and programming for custom data queries and structures
