About the Role

Operating at the intersection of Solution Engineering, Professional Services and Product Management, a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Team Lead Architect leverages state-of-the-art AI tooling alongside deep implementation expertise and industry knowledge to build foundational solutions, solve complex problems, accelerate customers' time-to-value, and decrease the cost of traditional services.

You will partner with our sales organization by applying your technical abilities, problem-solving skills, and business acumen in support of SailPoint’s growth objectives. An FDE Team Lead Architect undergoes comprehensive product and sales training to develop a profound understanding of our SaaS solutions and the challenges they solve for customers.

Within two months, FDEs begin participating in sales deals, leveraging product implementation expertise and client communication skills to implement foundational solutions and proof-of-value implementations. After six months, FDEs serve as technical leads on customer engagements and establish themselves as technical and consultative experts. By the end of the first year, they become trusted advisors to customers, partners, and less experienced team members, with opportunities to speak at conferences and user groups.
