FDA Fellowship - AI to Evaluate Maximum Daily Dose for Topical Drugs

Research Project

The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) aims to evaluate the Maximum Daily Dose (MDD) for topical drug products using AI models. Specifically, the project involves:

• Familiarization with FDA's IT system and relevant clinical trial courses.
• Training on FDA's Elsa, a large language model-powered AI tool for information extraction and summarization.
• Development and improvement of AI models for testing MDD evaluation of topical drug products.
• Collaboration with CDER to align models with FDA standards.

This opportunity is available to U.S. citizens only.

Qualifications

The candidate should have received or be currently pursuing a doctoral degree in a relevant field.

The candidate must have lived in the United States for at least 36 out of the past 60 months.
