Responsibilities
- Review, reconcile, and enter items received into the accounting system.
- Manage and direct accountants’ duties and tasks related to department functions.
- Prepare reports at various intervals showing departmental, project, or company accounting metrics.
- Prepare, review, and/or audit various budgets.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reports.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and other entities to provide information and answer questions related to accounting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of progressive responsibility in similar accounting positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exposure to accounting software(s).
