About the Role

The Fast Track Associate Trauma Specialist is tasked with marketing and promoting Globus Medical products within the guidelines of the company’s quality policy and procedures. Sales goals and objectives will be met and exceeded through deep product knowledge, understanding customer needs, and professionally positioning Globus Medical products above competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds all sales goals and objectives assigned in the designated territory.
  • Gains and consistently increases product knowledge through formal sales training, surgeon speaker programs, attending surgeries, and industry research.
  • Communicates new ideas promptly to product development.
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
  • Develops thorough knowledge and understanding of all Globus Medical products and major competitors.
  • Regularly provides feedback on product development opportunities, new target accounts, sales performance, and market feedback.
  • Develops relationships with key trauma surgeon customers.
  • Maintains consignment and loaner inventory, moving loaner sets between accounts as needed.
  • Creates and implements an annual business plan with quarterly updates.
  • Manages travel expenses within budget.
  • Adheres to the company Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations through training and ongoing awareness.
  • Represents the company professionally, upholding ethical business practices in all interactions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of medical device sales or B2B sales experience and a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience within an operating room is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as necessary, including nights and/or weekends.
  • Willingness to take call up to 24/7.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
  • Strong understanding of skeletal/orthopedic anatomy.
  • Ability to deliver effective sales presentations with positive results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Physical Demands

  • Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Required to possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
