About the role

Join us as a Fast Track Claims Adjuster, Auto PD to play your part in transforming the way we help customers manage risk. This role is ideal for someone with prior insurance, automotive, or claims experience who is looking to grow a career in claims handling.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve first and third-party auto liability claims, and occasionally minor injury claims and low complexity general liability losses.
  • Work directly with policyholders, claimants, repair facilities, and vendors to provide timely and fair claim resolution while delivering strong customer service.
  • Review coverage, determine liability as applicable, and evaluate vehicle damages.
  • Coverage of automobile repair processes and vehicle damage evaluation is preferred but not required.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal partners.
  • Review estimates, photographs, repair documentation, and total loss evaluations.
  • Negotiate settlements within authority limits and document claim activity accurately.
  • Maintain productivity, quality, and customer service expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Aid customers through what can often be a stressful experience with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance claims, customer service, collision estimating, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Comfortable using claims management systems and standard business software.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Property and casualty licenses required. Must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Pay

Compensation for this position includes base salary and eligibility for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Schedule

This role is primarily based in the office, with occasional remote work options.
