FAST GenTax Developer

About the role

Duration: 9 Months. Location: Augusta, Maine. Work Mode: Remote. Interview Mode: Teams. Special Requirement: W2 candidates only. Work Location: 100% Remote (Manager is willing to consider candidates in Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific Time Zones).

Responsibilities

• Analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Code enhancements and develop required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards of the GenTax system.
• Execute the required steps for implementing SQR change requests in the FAST GenTax system and tracking changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) following project standards.
• Coordinate work with other software developers.
• Participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs.
• Execute responsibilities with little direct supervision of a team leader.
• Improve efficiency and accuracy of tax processing.

Requirements

• Has not worked for FAST Enterprises directly in the past 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years of programming experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with one of FAST Enterprises, LLC technology systems (GenTax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE).
• Proficiency in C#.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio.
