Fashion Island - Sales Associate

The Sales Associate/Stylist at Good American is responsible for promoting brand engagement with clients, partners, and within their city. This role acts as a representative of Good American in the daily business operations of the store, supporting all store initiatives including superior client engagement, store upkeep, and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Drive for financial results by achieving individual sales targets and supporting team members to achieve total store and brand performance.
• Ensure individual KPI goals are attained and support the achievement of KPI goals of team members and store.
• Support the needs of the client through styling advice and suggestions with every engagement.
• Deliver the best possible client experience with every type of engagement (in store, virtual, alternate mediums).
• Solution-oriented approach to resolving customer service issues with brand and client top of mind.
• Create and develop a robust client book based on strong engagement, focusing on client acquisition and retention.
• Support floor coverage, financial targets, visual merchandising standards, client service, and operational functions within the store.
• Participate in and support all visual merchandising initiatives, adhering to visual directives and maintaining visual standards that align with brand guidelines.
• Support inventory initiatives including completing Cycle Counts, inventory reconciliations, and other tasks as required.
• Create and bring to life activations/events in the store that aim to acquire new clients and focus on client retention/development.
• Attend all meetings as required by the business.
• Contribute towards creating and maintaining a positive team culture within the store.
• Be a strong partner to the corporate team and deliver feedback and insights.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in a retail apparel environment.
• Experience within women’s apparel retail preferred.
• Familiarity with key retail performance indicators.
• Adaptable, open-minded, active listener, and compassionate.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written) to engage with clients and team members.
• Strong fashion acumen and ability to style clients.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and travel approximately 10% of the time.
