FASHION BUYER Part-Time

About the role

Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults, carrying everything from mall to luxury brands at up to 70% off regular/resale prices. We aim to make fashion more sustainable and are looking for part-time Buyers who can help us achieve this goal. Part-time Buyers typically work 14-28 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Select and price gently-used and new clothing, shoes, bags, and jewelry styles for our customers with expertise
• Assist with merchandising clothing throughout the store
• Assist with Luxury Authentications (using our third-party vendor - we'll train)
• Assist with checking in guests to sell their items
• Provide excellent customer service to sellers and buyers
• Work with the store staff to keep the buys organized
• Assist with cashiering of customer transactions

Requirements

Must have an eye for fashion, be a fast learner, responsible, and have excellent communication skills. Open availability is preferred, and you must be able to work weekends.
